The landscape of the Peak District National Park is wonderfully diverse. It is broadly split into two distinct parts. The White Peak to the south is comprised of gently rolling slopes of lush pastureland, criss-crossed by ancient limestone walls, while the Dark Peak to the north is characterised by wild, heather moorland and dark, gritstone crags.
